art & yoga programs

Holding degrees in Master of Art & Masters of Fine Art (UNSW) and qualifications in Adult Education (TAA; TAFE NSW) and Disability Work (Cert IV, Swinburne), Dom has over 20 years’ engagement with person-centred disability art programs. Passionate about participants having opportunities to nurture their distinct creative voices, Dom developed her first suite of personalised disability art programs in 2007. She has since partnered with numerous disability organisations to provide her programs to hundreds of participants in individual and group settings.

A yoga practitioner for over 25 years, Dom completed her Iyengar Yoga teacher training in 2019. As the co-manager at an established yoga studio, she brings her practical experience to the design of personalised disability yoga programs aligned with Iyengar principles that focus on safely addressing individual physical & emotional needs.

An Archibald Prize finalist with degrees in Master of Art & Masters of Fine Art (UNSW), Mike has over 15 years’ experience developing innovative studio art programs across a range of public education settings, including the Art Gallery of NSW (Contempo) and the University of NSW (Art&Design). An advocate for platforms promoting diverse creative voices, Mike practises person-centred education in partnership with numerous disability organisations to provide accessible group programs exploring exciting approaches to painting, drawing, mixed media and sculpture.

Initially trained in piano and having played professionally for over 30 years, Mike is an experienced facilitator of participant-led disability music programs. His widely regarded band and drum circle programs emphasise creative collaboration and fun exploring world music, blues, jazz, country, folk, and pop/rock to foster personally meaningful self-expression through singing, playing, percussion & songwriting.
